For a few days around this time of year every year, the streets of Thailand run red with the blood of the innocent and deserving alike. Well, blood, or water that mixed with some red colouring along the way. It could be any other colour or even remain crystal clear (unlikely-ly) but that wouldn’t be as dramatic now would it? I previously had a post and some words about my time in Austria and the visit to the top of Mt. Hafelekar, but rummaging through my books i found this bunch of words and I felt obliged to throw it up here. Read it maybe, or just look at my right foot (it’s the good one). click here for….do you really need a reason?

Lines. Everywhere in India, you find lines. Sit within it and it seems like the chaotic rush of a tidal wave, but should you be able to pull away enough, and look back upon it, there is an unspoken harmony that operates within borders; lines. click here for a few more lines on…..lines i guess. Also pictures of lines!
The heavy heat of mid April Goa only served to make the blend of airs even more of a burden for an alien me. The slow rot of the produce market beside me; the exhaust fumes of the army of poorly maintained bikes and cars flowing all around; and of course the delightful scent wafting over from fish mongering women down the road. Wading through the melange, i could only avoid so many ‘cool bar’ signs before stopping for my 3rd sip before noon.
